The verified badge on eDalali means one thing precisely: we have checked that the person behind the account is who they say they are. It is not a guarantee about any individual property.
What we check before issuing the badge
- A clear photo of a NIDA card or passport.
- A selfie of the holder with the same ID, so the document matches the face.
- A phone number that matches the account and is reachable on WhatsApp.
- For dalalis: at least one signed mandate letter from a property owner they represent.
What the badge does not mean
- It is not proof that a particular house is available today.
- It is not proof of ownership of any property listed.
- It is not an endorsement of the price being asked.
How we keep listings fresh
Every listing expires automatically after 30 days. The poster must confirm the property is still available for it to stay visible. Listings reported as already taken are reviewed and removed.
Losing the badge
Verification is withdrawn immediately if a poster advertises a property they have no mandate for, asks a seeker for money before a viewing, or repeatedly lists properties that are already taken.
